About the Role
As a Senior HR Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert guidance and support to organizations in all areas of human resources management. You will leverage your extensive experience and knowledge to develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and practices that align with the organization's objectives and foster a positive work environment. This role requires strong leadership skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a deep understanding of HR best practices.
Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Planning: Develop and implement HR strategies that support the organization's overall objectives, including talent acquisition, retention, and development.
Policy Development: Design and implement HR policies and procedures that comply with legal requirements and promote fairness and equality within the workplace.
Employee Relations: Provide guidance and support to management and employees on employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
Talent Management: Oversee the recruitment and selection process, including job analysis, sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees. Develop and implement talent management initiatives to nurture and retain top talent.
Performance Management: Design and implement performance management systems, including goal setting, performance appraisal, and feedback mechanisms. Provide coaching and support to managers on performance management best practices.
Training and Development: Identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance the skills and competencies of employees. Facilitate training sessions and workshops as needed.
HR Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations. Stay up-to-date on changes in employment legislation and advise management on compliance requirements.
HR Metrics and Analytics: Develop and maintain HR metrics and analytics to track key performance indicators and measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives. Use data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement.
Change Management: Lead and support organizational change initiatives, including restructuring, mergers, and acquisitions. Develop change management plans and communication strategies to facilitate smooth transitions.
HR Consulting: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior management on HR-related matters. Provide expert guidance and recommendations to address complex HR challenges and drive business success.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) highly desirable.
Minimum of 8 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a senior HR role.
Extensive knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Proven track record of driving HR initiatives and delivering results.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software applications.
